ROOTS TYPE BLOWER FOR CEMENT PRODUCTION
Howden Roots® Blowers has been manufacturing and developing the rotary positive displacement blowers that bear their name continuously since 1854.
Today, they produce robust, heavyduty bi-lobe or tri-lobe designs that deliver reliable performance with innovative Whispair™ technology for low noise, low pulsation compression – perfect for the production of cement.
Howden blowers are used to move the iron ore, calcium carbonate, silica and alumina immediately after extraction and continue to be used throughout the process and once the end product is generated and needs transported.
Once the raw materials have been crushed and transported to the kiln, Howden fans super heat the meal into the cement clinker and then to cool the clinker. The clinker then has gypsum added and is moved into the cement mill to be ground into the final product.
